Outfits for women over 40
We are on the fence when it comes to giving style advice by age. Trends should have nothing to do with age - whether you're 20 or 80, you should be able to wear what you want. However, we will say one thing: the older you get, the more likely you are to refine your style and find the signatures that suit you. Timeless style is now something that we all strive for, and to prove it, we have grouped outfits that are stylish and easy to replicate. Keep scrolling to see and buy our favorite outfit outfits.

Style Notes: The Club Monaco pants by Grece Ghanem look fantastic with their ribbed white shirt and black mules sandals. The straw boat and the black sunglasses make it particularly glamorous.

Style Notes: When it comes to timeless style, Erica Davies is our source of inspiration, and this white summer dress from Other & Stories is at the top of our shopping list.

The top on the left is from Diane von Furstenberg and was a favorite of mine this year. It's out of stock, but I've noticed this similar DVF flower cover at Farfetch.

What are some of the things you should avoid?
1. Do not buy clothes that will not please you, even if these are the trends this season. For this it is important to know your body type, which I will discuss in the next posts.

2. Do not try to be too fit or too polished. It's nice to mix things up and be a bit more playful. A 2-piece suit will look old quickly. Mix the jacket better with a different skirt or pants and look effortlessly chic.

3. Avoid buying fabrics that are too cheap, as they usually do not flatter or last. Here you can see some properties of fabrics. It's best to buy only the clothes that you love and that have a lasting chance.
